ĒVOCĀRE
A mini workshop series on storytelling, reframing narrative, and practical stagecraft tools for everyone. Whether you are a would-be storyteller, a poet, a ballad singer, or simply wish to improve your confidence in public speaking, this workshop is for you.
MARCH 15TH
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
11am-2pm We deconstruct narratives, explore alternative perspectives, and identify the elements that create a great story.
3pm-5pm We focus on various stagecraft techniques, explore musicality & meter in text, and practice vocal exercises to gain confidence and expressive dynamism in public speaking and performances.
5pm-6pm Those feeling brave have a chance to try out their newly acquired skills with a telling and gain supportive peer feedback.
MARCH 19th
We come together once more, from 6pm-8pm (this time at Vapaan Taiteen Tila), to share reflections from the week and practice performing our newly refined stories, poetry, or songs for one another (with a final round of group feedback, if desired).
