What Is Patreon?
Once upon a time, artists & creators of all kinds had the possibility of gaining the support of a wealthy patron. In exchange for anything from money and food, to housing, clothing, instruments, tools of the trade, etc. the artist would celebrate the patron by creating bespoke works art, performing for events, and generally shouting their praises throughout the land. In this day and age, , in addition to the fuul-time work that goes into promoting their art, creators often need to work numerous side jobs or rely on scoring deals with large companies to survive, often jeopardizing the integrity of their artistry and leaving little time for the art itself.
PATREON is a platform which allows anyone to fulfill the role of the patron (without having to be wealthy). Through regular donations, everyday people can support the artists, inventors, performeers, and creators whom they admire and, in exchange, receive various benefits and opportunities. Everything that came before + Tune of The Month (a series where I share downloadable midis or MP3s of folk tunes I am currently exploring). This includes a downloadable booklet of the year’s tunes (available on the Spring Equinox).
$15/€15 PER MONTH
Everything that came before + downloadable recordings of poetry & literature, Songs for the Season posts & Singer’s Circle online gatherings, as well as a downloadable songbook of Tune of The Month tunes + Singer’s Circle songs from the year. (Available on the Summer Solstice).
$25/€25 PER MONTH
Everything that came before + early access to episodes of The Loom Folktale Podcast and That Folking Podcast, as well as full interviews with guest artists, and Seasonal Musings episodes. You will also gain access to the Unreleased Music series + a free ticket to any local, live concert.
$50/€50 PER MONTH
Everything that came before + two free tickets to any local live concerts, free entry to workshops and online courses (as well as participation in forming new workshops), and early access to new recordings, collaborations, and extra behind-the-scenes content.
$100/€100 PER MONTH
Everything that came before + one free (online) 35min. private lesson per month (for you or a friend), one free Juniper & The Wolf T-shirt when they become available, and occasional Art & Chat virtual hangouts. NOTE: Unused lessons cannot be saved or accumulated over time.
$250/€250 PER MONTH
Everything that came before + a song commission (this can be an original song or an arrangement of a folk song of your choice, provided it is in the public domain), four free tickets to any live or livestreamed event + post-show hangout sessions.

If someone in this wide world (or a parallel dimension) happened to be crazy (and wealthy) enough to support me at this level of patronage, you are basically an actual, real-life patron and I will make you the crown to prove it! In additions to shout-outs & your name on everything, we will discuss what artistic exchange would feel appropriate for this level of support.
