  • Back Home In Derry. The lyrics for Back Home In Derry come from a poem, written by Irish rebel and IRA member, Bobby Sands. During his life, Bobby sands was imprisoned twice, the second time being sentenced to 14 years in The Maze prison and internment camp in Northern Ireland. Whilst imprisoned, Sands
